B29 is one of my favourites and so pleased they are keeping it in flying condition.</div><div id="AppleMailSignature">We have the "Sally B" B17 here and the French have one too. Canada has a Lancaster and we have a Lancaster in "minty" condition with brand new wings and also we have "Just Jane" Lancaster which can taxi and can almost lift off but is not airworthy. I have done some superb sound recordings in both aircraft, for start up, taxi and run etc but had to leave aircraft before take off as couldn't get insurance.</div><div id="AppleMailSignature">Had to strap in recording equipment for flying sequence and operate with a timer. Made some fantastic stereo and 3D recordings now with National Archives Kingscross London and Imperial War museum. Available to listen to from NSA also now with Harvard University USA. Never got a penny!
